Summer Programming Update

Updated May 7
To keep our community safe during the coronavirus pandemic, the City of Savage has made the difficult decision to cancel all youth Parks and Recreation programs and special events through August 31. If you or a member of your family is registered for a program, you will receive a full refund in the form of your original payment.

This decision also means our Music in the Park series and Movies in the Outfield special event dates are also canceled. We hope concerts and special events can resume later this summer, but not until conditions are appropriate for large-group gatherings.

The McColl Pond ELC remains closed and we are not booking facility rentals prior to July 1. We look forward to the day we can announce the reopening of our facility!

Although we can’t be together physically for summer programs and special events, we are working hard to offer virtual programs throughout the summer — please watch for more details to come!

Please continue to enjoy Savage parks and trails while maintaining appropriate physical distancing to help slow the spread of COVID-19, and continue to monitor for frequently updated information and resources.

We’re all in this together and hope to see everyone soon!
