How to Request a Police Report

To request a copy of a police report, print the Information Disclosure Request and complete Box A. You may mail, email, fax or bring the form to the Savage Police Department:

To request in person, Police Department lobby hours are Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  You may also call 952-882-2600 and the form can be emailed, mailed or faxed to you. Please allow up to ten days for the report to be processed. We will call you when your report is ready. A small fee may apply.

Minnesota Data Practices Act

The Savage Police Department strictly adheres to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, which classifies data as public, private and/or confidential. You may be asked to provide picture identification and/or written authorization from the parties involved in order to get a report.
