Lisa Klein is 2019 City Employee of the Year
Lisa Klein is a true team player. Over the last 15 years, Lisa has worked in multiple departments including Building Inspections, Finance, Human Resources, and currently is the Administrative Assistant for the Police Department. Throughout the years, Lisa has developed great working relationships with City leadership, other departments, and the various agencies the Police Department works with. Lisa is also a master multitasker! In her current role, Lisa coordinates all vehicle forfeitures, tracks officer training and licensing, and works closely with HR in the planning, organizing, and implementation of the department’s hiring and promotion processes. She also assists the City Clerk with volunteer training and election oversight for all local, county, and national elections. “Lisa is a dedicated and loyal employee who stays late, comes in early, and is always willing to put in extra time to make sure the work gets done,” praised Police Chief Rodney Seurer. “She is always looking for ways to improve processes, and over the past few years has found ways to streamline procedures and save money.” Lisa believes in giving her all to the City of Savage, and as a Savage resident herself, she has a vested interest in her community and strives to make the quality of life better for everyone.
