First Aid/CPR/AED Training

The Savage Fire Department is offering the American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED one day course which provides hands-on instruction on first aid, CPR, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The cost is $75 per person; registration is required.

What does this course teach?:
  • First aid basics
  • Medical emergencies
  • Injury emergencies
  • Environmental emergencies
  • Preventing illness and injury
  • Adult CPR and AED use
  • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
  • Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
Training Dates:
  • FEBRUARY 3 (Registration deadline: January 27)
  • APRIL 6 (Registration deadline: March 30)
  • JUNE 15 (Registration deadline: June 8)
  • AUGUST 3 (Registration deadline: July 27)
  • OCTOBER 5 (Registration deadline: September 28)
  • DECEMBER 7 (Registration deadline: November 30)

 

NOTE: Classes must have a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 12 to be held. Private and/or large groups can contact Fire Chief Slama to make arrangements.
