A number of newspapers provide regular coverage of the City of Savage. They include:

Savage Pacer - The official legal newspaper of the City of Savage.

ThisWeek - A weekly newspaper based in Burnsville that features occasional articles about City projects and Savage's schools.

Star Tribune South - A weekly section in the daily newspaper serving the Twin Cities metro area.

The Savage Pacer newspaper also publishes a Residents Guide that offers a variety of information on services that are available within and around the City of Savage. Please contact the Savage Pacer at 952.440.1234 to get your copy of the Residents Guide.

Minnesota state law - Chapter 156 of the Session Laws of 2005 - requires that "a city or county with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its three highest-paid employees." For the City of Savage, titles and salaries are: City Administrator - $134,553; Public Works Director - $114,989; Chief of Police - $114,989. Updated: January 8, 2014.
