The Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Commission consists of seven members and two alternates. Alternates participate in the discussion of issues like regular members, but may only vote when a regular member is absent. Terms are for three years.
Known as the PRNRC, the Commission works with staff to provide input and make recommendations regarding recreational programming and the acquisition and development of parks. The PRNRC meets the fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. Agendas are available from City Hall, 6000 McColl Drive, the Friday before the meeting.
