Quentin Ave/Hwy 13 Improvements
Location
Quentin Avenue and Highway 13.
Summary
Trunk Highway 13 is a major commercial freight corridor with high traffic volumes. The project will include the following:
- Realignment of the Quentin Avenue intersection to a new location approximately 125 feet to the west.
- Reconstruction of Lynn Avenue north of TH 13.

- Improve access to the freight terminals north of TH 13

Timeline
Construction will begin in late fall of 2011 and will be completed by November 1, 2012.
Update
10/17/12 The contractor will begin removing barriers on TH 13 late the evening of 10/19/12; this will allow TH 13 and the Lynn Avenue intersection to re-open. Some evening the week of 10/29/12, the Lynn Avenue/TH 13 intersection will be closed briefly to complete a mill and overlay of the bituminous pavement; this work would begin after 7:00pm on the selected evening. 123rd Street at Palmer Avenue will be closed from 10/22/12 to 10/31/12 for utility and street work; traffic will be routed around the closure.
