
For those unable to make it to their polling places on Election Day, absentee ballots are available 46 days prior to Election Day. You may vote by absentee ballot if you are:
You may vote absentee in person by completing the Minnesota Absentee Ballot Application. The application may be submitted in person at the Scott County Government Center, Room GC102, 200 Fourth Ave. W., Shakopee. Office hours are weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Elections Department is also open the Saturday before the election from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and until 5:00 p.m. the Monday before Election Day. Look up the status of your absentee ballot
Armed forces
If you are in the armed forces or outside the United States, you may vote by absentee ballot using the address where you last lived in Minnesota. A special application form is required, which you may obtain from Scott County Elections Division (952) 496-8560 or from the voting assistance officer in your military unit. Your parent, spouse, sibling, or child at least 18 years of age may also request an absentee ballot for you.
