The Metropolitan Council requires all cities in the metro area to update their comprehensive plans by the end of 2008. The Comprehensive Plan is the guide for how Savage will grow over the next 20 years and provides direction in making land use and development decisions.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 6, 2008 to review the final draft of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan Update. The Planning Commission tabled the request to allow more time for necessary revisions. As revised chapters become available, they will posted below for review.
