The Communications Division of the City of Savage is committed to using its resources to facilitate an informed citizenry and staff, promote City services and facilitate the enhancement of community identity.

The City of Savage Communications Division is responsible for distributing City-related information to residents. Services include producing the City News monthly newsletter for residents, maintaining the web site, responding to requests from the media, and advising City staff on general communication issues. The Communications Division also produces brochures and plans events as necessary.

City Newsletter
The City News is a monthly publication distributed to residents through their utility bills. The newsletter provides residents with information on current programs and activities, a schedule of upcoming events, and reminders about City ordinances. View the City News newsletter

Memberships
The Communications Division is a member of the Minnesota Association of Government Communicators (MAGC), the City County Communication and Marketing Association (3CMA), and the International Association of Business Communicators. 

Awards
Since implemented in 1999 with the creation of a communications specialist position, the City of Savage's communications efforts have caught the attention of others in the metropolitan area. Below is a listing of the awards received to date:
